Chelle's meeting with Shane and Gillian
Tuesday night
We went to Sligo on Tuesday, and by the time we got there it was around 10 o'clock. We drove down to Morgan... and we saw Shane's Ferrari outside and the lights were on and you could see Shane standing inside it! So we found our hotel and went back to Morgan and we walked by it a few times and he walked out but we were to nervous to say anything so my mum said to us "If I go up to him will you come with me.." So we agreed and we waited for ages for him to come back. But when he did, he ran inside (btw we were the only three there!) so we waited and he came back out again and mum ran up to him and she just said "Shane my daughter's a huge fan and I know you're busy but do you mind just sayin hi!" And oh my god it was the first time I heard his voice... and he said "Yeah sure no problem where is she" *mum points behind him* and he walked up to us and shook our hand and said "Hello girls how are ye? Ye well!" And the rest was a blur until mum asked for a photo and he said "Yeah sure no probs." and cuddled us really tight (it was a freezing night!) and all I could feel was this little bit of fat under his ribs.. yeah baby!! *drool* so he made mum take a few in case the first one didn’t come out... while dad chatted to his friends... and when we were finished he said "Sure girls I'll go get you an autograph.. hold on one minute.." and he went inside and and he came back to the door and opened it and asked my name and said "Sure have a look around.." So we were looking in the door at everything and I seen Gillian on the floor!! She was sitting on the middle of the floor laughin at someone and I said to him "Oh my god is that Gillian?" and he stopped all of a sudden and had this big worried look and says "Erm em em yea why?" And me and my mate said "Oh my god she is da bomb will you tell her we love her.. she's like so cool!!" and he was in shock and he smiled and said "Really?? O gawd. Gill love.. Gill? Gill where are ye? Ohh girls I don't know where she is.. but I'll tel her.. No wait will ye be around 2mmorow? Cause she'll be here and you can say hi to her yourself!" and we were like "ahhh ok. lmao. But tell her we love her anyways!" So he was dead chuffed and he came back outside and kissed my mum n my m8 n me. And omg.. he drove off with all his mates then..
So we went back to the hotel. And stayed there for a while and then mum said we’d walk back up and see what's going on, so when we went back there was 3 more fans there (half 1 at night!!) lol. And they went home after a while and then Shane came back out with a Nokia picture phone and Jessie ran over and asked him to say hi to Amy for us. And he was so nice and he tried talking to her but Amy didn't talk to him!! And he handed "my phone" back and with his baby face said "she won't talk to me.. ye know like I think she's afraid of me"... Omg he was sooo sweet to us!!!!A nyways didn't sleep a wink that night!! We queued up at 11. And there was like 30 people there and Shane's whole family were walking in and out.. (his sister is having a baby btw) and Shane hadn't turned up. So we all chatted n stuff, bla bla.A nd at like 1 minute to 12 everyone started screaming and he was walking down the street with Gillian and they ran inside. Then at like 1 o'clock they let us in like 10 at a time.. and we saw Gill standin talking to this woman and we were like "ok when we go in don't go to Shane go to her!" lol. So we finally got in and went over to her and she looked at us and said "hiye girls" and we handed her the teddy we got for her and she almost cried! And gave us a kiss and said to us "awwww girls. Nobody ever gives me anything. You're so thoughful aww thank you girls!!" And I asked her if I could have a photo with her and she was delighted and said "of course you can girls.." and we took a few pics and thanked her and walked over to the counter to get served by Shaney! lol So I got his autograph and he gave me a bag with Morgan brochures in it.lol. And then we looked around and went out, but after a while we went back up to Gill and I took out a Shane poster and asked her to sign it so she did and she stared at the poster and looked at us and smiled and gave this cheeky look and says "umm he doesn't look too bad in that does he girls!?" and we were like "Omg what did she just say" lmao she was so funny, anyway we went up to Shane's jeep, there were 4 girls there. And we stood beside them! And we finally started talking. They were from town and knew all the gossip on Shane n Gill lol! And they loved Shane!! One of the girls Sharon, her cousin babysits Killian n Grace n she said 1 night she rang while her cousin was babysitten and Grace came on the phone and said "D'ya want one of uncy Shane's mash hits awards.. we've got loads and Shane can get you more if you like".. (awww bless her lol) Anyway..ohhhhhh they told us about Kian and Jessica yep they're still going out. But I'm not saying anything else!! So then we went back into the shop and walked around for 3 hours! Cause there wasn't as many there and Shane was walking around and he used to stop to talk to us and all the Sligo girls. He was so nice. and then he goes to us "Lord Jaysus me back is killing me!" and we all looked at each other and I said "I can fix it.." and I started rubbin it and he laughed and said ”ohhh nice” *shrugs shoulders* and went off to sign stuff. so we went over to Gill again and chatted to her. And she now knew our names and none of the Sligo girls would go near her cos they were like "Omg she's such a bitch" and me and Jessie were like ”Ehhh no she isn’t she's sooo cool! Come over n talk to her” So we all went over and got talking to her and bout 10 of us got a pics taken with her. She was lost somewhere in the middle of us and they all came out sayin "Omg i never realised how funny and friendly and nice she was!"
Anyway Shane's dad came over and wanted him to sign something for someone and he said "Ohh dad me back is killing me dad! It's so sore" And we were all like '*sigh* poor thing!'
Oh and Gill was standing beside the dressing rooms and my mum (who disliked her.. she's a Shane fan..lol ) went in to try on a top. And she was talkin to us and mum sort of popped her head out to ask me how it looked and Gill looked in and smiled and went in and took her hand and said "Don't be so shy come on show us!" (how nice is she!) And we were all lookin at my mum and then this other girl came down and she was like "ohh yea thats lovely bla bla"(all the ppl that work there are so nice!) And then Gill laughed and said "Ohh you're probably like ahh stop staren at me.. *laughed* so I'll stop now and go over here." and mum was like "No no you're grand" so then they had a big chat and since then my mum hasn't shut up about her and how nice she is, ohh and I forgot.. Gillian was playin with all the babies and she use to bring them over to Shane to show him. She was soo sweet. And she was minding Shane's little nephew and he kept messing her hair and she kept blowing in his face and he’d crack up laughing at her! And I got pics of her and Shane holding this little baby. Awww bless them they looked so sweet...
Anyway this is the funny bit. It was like 5'o clock and there was like 20 people around and Gill came out of the door with her hand bag and our teddy in it. So Sharon, me and Jess followed her cause we knew she was going! So she went around the corner and got into the jeep and we watched her and she turned around at the top of the town so we knew she was coming back so we waited and as she got to the corner she saw us and waved and we'd just bearly seen her and we were like "Ahh look she waved at us" so we walked back over to the shop.. and she drove over and Jess pushed me off the path and I fell out in front of her and she nearly burst out laughingl And I was like "ahh don't worry about it.. lol" so she stopped in the street and put on her hazards and see she couldn't get into the space cause there were these guarda cones stopping her. So we just chatted away and I just saw her all alone in the jeep and said I had to do something so I walked over and pretended to start thumbing for a lift home and she cracked up laughing and let down the window and called us over so the three of us were chatting to her. When all of a sudden she noticed all the traffic and said to me "Michelle is there a bloody cone there somewhere??" and I walked up to the front of it and was like "emmm yeah? (And you've almost driven over it Gill…) and she said "would you just mind movin it cos im holdin up da whole town!" so I went and I fecied the cone on the path and we all stood back and watched her "try" get into the parking space...ahem. Yeah, she failed, but I blame it on the jeep. She couldn't handle it.. cause when we went back to her she said to sharon "Omg I swear I hate this Jeep it's too big!!" Was so funny, she's hilarious! Anyways then she said "Michelle how are you getting back to Carlow?" and me being me said "I'm gonna thumb a lift!" and her face dropped and she said "no wayyyyyy are you serious? Carlow is 200 miles away" and I couldnt help but laugh at her and I was like "Nah Gill I'm taking da mickey! My parents are driving me home" And she burst out laughing and said "Omg Shane's always sayin I'm to gulable, Michelle you're mental, dye know that??"and I was dead chuffed cause like Gill Walsh said that bout me!!! Anyways then I said "Ahh Gill Shaney has a sore back you will mind him, won't ye? And make it better!" And she smiled at us all and said "Yeah of course I will!" And sharon said "I hope he's minding you!" And we all laughed and she goes "Ahh he is girls don't worry bout me!" and I was lookin at the seat in the jeep and she said "What are you doing?" and I was like "I'm wondering if you have back messagers in the seats" and she goes 'Hop in and see', and I was like "are ye serious!!!??” lol so I hopped in and Jess shouted out "Gill while she’s at it do you have butt warmers?" And she just once again cracked up laughin and said us crowd from Carlow are wild! And so then I didn't like staying too long cause I thought Shane might come out and think I was harassing her.lol. He came out a few mintues later and sat in beside her. And I was just about to take a pic when Sha goes "Gill let up the window!!" and her been her (I blame the blondeness) got mixed up and let it down instead lol, and she looked over at us and she said "I'll see ye girls, take care won't ye.. I'll come down to visit ye's in Carlow sometime. Cause I've got a mate going to college down there! And Shay was all tense so she rubbed his leg and said 'Right girls im going, lol, thank you!' And Shane was like "Yeah yeah girls thank you yeah great" lol. And we all whispered "Say bye Gillian.." So when she was pulling away we all shouted "Bye Gillian!" And Shane looked at us, and was like ”Where's my goodbye?” lol...
We were talking to Mark's mum. We were standing alone in the street and she came by and I jus smiled and said "hiya" and I was expecting her to say "hi" and walk on.. but she didn't, she stopped and talked and talked for like 5 minutes about the shop, Carlow and Wexford and how she's often down there because she's got relations down there! And I asked her how Mark was and she said "Ahhh he's brilliant girls he's in right form.." And we told her to say hi to him for us.. and she was so nice. lol. And then she had to go.. but I'm glad Mark's in right form.lmao!!
Found out heaps of stuff from the Sligo girls too btw... Ahem. About Kian and Jessica (they are still going out... can't tell you the rest lol) oh and we saw Shane and Gillian's house where they're living now. it's huge! And his ferrari and bmw were parked outside it! But it's a gorgeous house! But the girls said he's only renting it.
When I was at the dressing room with Jessica and this assistant came over to talk to us and Gill was minding her own business beside us and the lady says "Ahhh what do ya think girls? See anything nice?" And I said "Yep... Shane aint too bad!" And she started laughing and called Gill over and said "Did ye hear that?? She wants to buy your boyfriend.." and Gill said "pardon?" and she said it again and and Gill laughed at me and patted my shoulder and said "Awww but he’s not for sale, but I might share him" haha omg something else happened. Oh yeah Gill was gettin interviewed and Jessica was beside her and the interviewer said something about old videos of her and Shane in Grease and haha she put her hand up to her face and goes "Ohh lord don't bring them up.. they're a bit hairy!" lmao!!! haha..
Gillian Walsh is the nicest girl ever! I wanna know if Kerry, Jess or Gina ever chatted for 4 hours with fans, let a fan sit in there bfs/hubbies jeep or was so nice and cool and friendly etc? Cause those who say Gill is rude arrogant and stuck up....I'd say spend 1 hour with her and you wouldn't be sayin it for long!
