My first meeting with the lads (16th November 2003)

Woooow we finally met the lads, 16 November 2003, in Germany!
It was fab, but I don't think the train trip is interesting enough to tell you lol.
So we arrived on the train station in Cologne, where a German girl would pick us up to take us to the Cinedom, where the German Fanday was held. We were waiting for some other fans to arrive, when a girls phone rang. Westlife had arrived at the Cinedom, so everyone was like 'nooooo, shit' and we rushed to the metro station, raced to the Cinedom, but we were too late :( It was like 1 PM then and we had to wait another hour before we could go in. At 1.45 PM the doors opened and we got to our seats. They showed the DVD (niceeeeee, we had already seen it lol), they skipped like most of the songs, but I was glad about that… coz that would probably mean that there would be more time for the signing. When the DVD was finished, a German woman from BMG Germany told us (in German :S) that the lads were in the building, I think (didn't understand a word of it lol) and then we counted down from 10 till 0 and they came in! It was so weird to see them again! They walked up to the BMG girl, who asked them some questions (fans could throw questions in a box and the BMG would ask 10 of them). One of the questions was 'Nicky, what colour is your underwear today?!' So everyone screamed and then was like 'Ehm.. let me check' (well he didn't say it but he checked) and was like: 'It's black today, but I hardly wear underwear' or something lol. The questions were not that interesting, I think. Oh Shane's favourite songs of the new album are 'Mandy' and 'On My Shoulder'. The questions were over and the lads went to another 'room' to sign the autographs and it was like 'You can run the fastest?! You're first!' That's just so unfair! But ok, we were waiting in this pushing crowd, we were pushed backwards and we both thought: 'No, this is not gonna work, we're not gonna meet them'. But then some more people got thro', so we had a bit more space. I was glad about that, coz it was so warm there and I had the feeling I was going to faint, but luckily I didn't. Then after like half an hour we were in the front of the 'queue' and we pushed us thro' it. We were there, but then San realised she lost her soft toy for Nicky so she was really disappointed and we were walking up the stairs when I heard a girl, who pasted us, say something to her friend ('I think someone has lost that) and I was like: 'lost what? San, you lost ur diddle, they are talking about urs', we looked down and there stood a first aid woman, waving San's diddle in the air :D We had to wait for another 15 mins and then we finally got to the front of the queue. Then the security told us we weren't allowed to take pix, so we were like 'WTF?!' And we were really really disappointed and annoyed, coz we'd finally have some great pix of the lads! Dave called us over and we walked up to the table, the lads were sitting in the order of: Bryan, Kian, Nicky, Shane, Mark. Dave spread my poster and Bryan was looking at it, signed it, and shove it to Kian. He smiled and signed it, then Nicky got it and was looking at it for like 'hours' before signing it lol (how interesting can a poster be lol) Then I heard this girl asking Bryan 'How are ya Bryan?' Then Bryan replied: 'I'm fucking great!' San didn't hear it clearly, so I repeated it and she said: 'Fucking great nogwel' (nogwel is Dutch, dunno how to translate it in English sorry) lol, but she said it a bit too loud, Bryan heard it and laughed! Kian had a smile on his face as well :p Then she gave Nicky her diddle and her letter and he was like 'Aww thank you' He said it so sweetly, with this sweet smile on his face. (maybe because the letter was for Nicky AND Georgina), thats the reason why he put it in his coat-pocket maybe! OMG! Nicky put her letter in his pocket! Would he have read it? Would be so cool! :D Then we both got to Shane, we gave him our pressie. (No, I'm not telling you what we gave him and Gill) and he was kinda shocked I think. He was looking at it and listening to what we had to tell him about it, so sweet! When we told him everything he was like 'Aww thank you' I expected him to give me a kiss maybe, but no he didn't - poor me. I didn't have the courage to ask them for a kiss, coz I wanted to ask Nicky, but I was too scared lol I gave Shane my letter and 1 of a friend, hope he read them! :) But don't think he has, or will :( Then I got dragged away and San was still standing at the table. She was waiting for Mark to sign her poster and when he'd done that he looked her straight in the eyes and she was like 'OMG! What do I have to say now?' So she just said 'Thank you' and he was like 'Thank you' she told me he said it just so sweet with this cute-ee smile! And when she walked away he was still looking at her, she thought. (oooh San you made a hit with Mark! Gooo you! Lol) Then we were told to go downstairs and it was all over, but a day to remember definitely! As I said we have no pix of it sorry :(
