Sandra's meeting with the lads and girls (30/31 March 2005)

Review:

30 March
First we went to the airport in the morning. Cause we heard that they would arrive round 09.40 AM from Copenhagen. But we saw no WL. So we decided to wait for the next flight… so we waited and waited… still no WL. Then we waited for another flight and decided if they’re not in it, we go to the hotel! And guess what?! WL wasn’t on that flight either! So we went to the hotel, but there were no fans. Except from a friend of me. So we decided to go to another hotel and guess what?! The lads were already there. We saw their tourbus… but from what we’ve heard we hadn’t missed anything. Just Nicky and Jodi getting in, but that was all… so we waited there for something to happen. First we saw Dave leaving the hotel and walking to the tourbus… it was around 02.30 PM. A few mins later he walked back with Mark. I so didn’t recognise him *shame* Then a few mins after that we saw Kian&Jodi leaving for shopping. They were sooo cute together! They’re such a lovely couple! Then a few mins later we saw Dave again, who now picked Shane up. He was a bit moody, but I guess he was cause of the LONG ride to Holland and also cause of all the fans outside the hotel. There were like 40/50 fans outside. And MOST of them weren’t even Dutchies. Then an hour/hour and half later Kian&Jodi came back from shopping! They were sooo in love! A few mins after that they all came out to go to the venue for sound checking and the concert! We decided to go to the venue as well! We arrived there around 06.15 PM or so. And we still had 12th row! So we were happy about it! The concert was GREAT! Although I already saw it twice in Dublin ;) But I didn’t care! The lads were in such a good mood! :) I had the time of my life! And esp. during ‘What Makes A Man’. I knew my pix with Shane and Nicky were on the screen in Stockholm and was hoping that they were on it in Holland as well. And they were! YEAH! :):) First my Shane 1 and after that my Nicky 1! It was sooo cool! :) Thanks lads for such an AMAZING night! :)

I sent a friend a text message asking if the lads were still in the hotel. Cause she stayed the night there as well… And she said that Jake was walking around in the lobby and that there were 2 cars outside. So I so thought they were leaving. So me and my friend immediately went to the hotel. When we came there we saw nobody! Then we looked around the corner and saw some fans outside the entrance of the hotel. I asked them if the lads were still there and they were! And nobody had seen them yet. So we were very happy to hear that. So we just had to wait till they came out… and we waited, waited and waited… we waited for like 4 hours or so and heard that Dave left the hotel. Nobody knew why… Later some of us went to the side entrance of the hotel to see if there was anything happening… but no… but when we left someone ran to us and said that Gina just arrived. And me as a Gina fan was like ‘OMG she’s here as well :o’. Although was a bit disappointed that I missed her. But I knew I would see her anyway! :) And she went inside straight away… then we started waiting again… Then me and 2 others were like, Jodi is here, Gina is here, why isn’t Gillian here?! :S Of course we knew maybe she isn’t cause of the pregnancy… but a few hours later I saw a taxi in front of the hotel with a blonde… I was like ‘Its Gillian. Its Gillian. I'm soo sure it's her.’ And we were all so happy. Then we had to warn someone who’s a BIG Gillian fan and she had something she had to give Gillian! So my friend Laura asked Gill for a picture and she said yes! And guess what?! I had to take that pic and my bloody cam wasn’t working! So hated it! So my friend gave me her cam and took a pic. Then I asked for 1, but unfortunately I had my eyes closed! :( It was my first ever pic with her and then I’ve 1 like that! Was very disappointed, but also very happy that she was there! :) Then I thought about my present for the baby, so I grabbed it and gave it to Gill and she was like ‘Aww thank you very much’. I hope she liked it, haha… then loads of fans came to her for pix. But a friend had given the present, it was a basket with loads of baby stuff from 10 Dutchies! (also from me :P) Havent seen she gave it, but Im sure Gill loved it! :) When Gill was inside we heard that in the same time Kian&Jodi left from the side entrance. There were 2/3 fans waiting and they wouldn’t take any pix. :( But Gillian also promised she would be back in 10 mins… so we were all waiting and waiting… but still no Gillian. But then it all got manic… Nicky&Georgina left the side entrance so I ran and took a pic, but I had only Nicky on it and wanted Gina on it as well… so I was walking in front of them and took another 1… and Nicky was saying something like ‘just 1 picture’ so I took a last 1 and looked at them walking to the tourbus. But they left it at the other side and went out for dinner. Then some people said Mark left as well. So I took some pix of him. Some people went after him and when they came back they had some pix with him. Me and some others were like ‘We want 1 as well’. So we went after him as well. He was on the phone and walking to the bank to get some cash money. So we waited till he came back. Then we asked him for a pic and he said ‘just 1 group pic’. So we did that and after it he said ‘don’t follow me girls’. And we were all like ‘of course we wont’. So then we walked back to the hotel. Then Shane&Gillian left! So we ran to them for pix. And my friend had to give her pressie to them! And she did! :) They took some pix and walked to the tourbus. I followed them, but saw only Shane, he was signing stuff! I guess Gill was already in the bus! Then they both left the bus and went also out for dinner. But a few mins later they came back… Shane forgot his wallet, haha… after that we waited till they came back. Me and 2 friends left for something to eat. On our way we saw Mark and we were like ‘Hi Mark’ and he was saying ‘Hi’ to us as well! *lol* I think he thought we were following him, but we weren't. Then we searched for something to eat. Well 1 of us… everywhere where we were we saw Mark and we were so embarrassed, cuz we sooo knew he was thinking we were following him, but we weren’t. On our way back to the tourbus we saw Shane&Gillian and they were looking at us, haha… we didn’t say anything, but stopped and looked at them. It was soo cute they were kissing and all… Then we had to wait AGAIN! *lol* Still nothing happened, but then some girls said that Shane&Gillian were coming back. So we waited for them… we were all scared to ask them for a pic, but we did and it was ok. They were sooo nice! :) And when someone asked Shane for a pic Gillian asked if she could take it, haha… was soo funny! :) After that they said goodbye and Gillian promised to be back next year, cause she said ‘see you next year’. They went to the tourbus and we went to it as well, a little bit later on… And I really wanted a new Gillian pic, with my eyes OPEN! *lol* So I walked up to her, she was standing all alone, and I asked for 1 and it was ok! :) And the pic is great! :) Shane thanked everyone for the pressies and told us they loved them. After that they went in the tourbus, cause Gill was very tired. We stayed there for a few mins and decided to go home… It were 2 AMAZING days. I’ll never forget them! :)
