My meeting with Shane, Gill and Georgina (4th June 2004)

Well where should I start?
Ehm.. Shane told Marita (friend of mine) that Gillian would arrive in the morning so she texted me and called me bout that in the middle of the night so when I got up to go to the venue for the concert I looked up the flights from Dublin to Holland for yesterday morning and we went to the airport at about 8.30 am... so there would arrive a flight in Holland at 9.10.
We didnt see anyhing at first but then this man walked passed and I was like did I really see that name on that paper?! And then Marita was like 'omggggg!!! Look at that man and that paper he's holding... it said 'Mrs. Georgina Byrne.... [hotel name]' and he was waiting a few meters away from us so we waited and Gina arrived! I was soooo shocked! Jees how gorge is that woman!! She's such a sweetheart... we were there with 4 so we all asked for a picture and she was like 'yeah sure...' go that woman! So instead of seeing Gill arrive we met Gina.. we waited for the next flight to arrive but I got a phone call from a friend of mine who's at the hotel, while we were waiting there and she said she'd just seen Gill arrive so we missed her at the airport So we decided to go back to the venue but I was like... 'actually... I wanna go to the hotel now.. wanna meet Gill... eventhough I might only see her.. doesn't matter.... that would be great!' so we went to the hotel. there were about 30 fans so Marita was like 'you soo wont have the chance to get a piccie or whatever' but I didn't care, seeing Gill or whoever there was sumthing I wanted.. so we waited and waited and waited and then finally bout an hour later Shane n Gillian came out.. so everyone ran up to them for pictures and all - they were there for maybe about 3 mins but it was great - Gills soo gorge in real life! My goddd! And Marita managed to give her the b-day books and she really loved them! And was like 'omg.... thats so sweet, thank you very much..' and was flicking through one of them. They went for a walk but they'd be back soon... so we decided to wait - I got sum instructions from Marita about how to get a picture with them lol.. and she went back to the venue.. and then an hour later they came back.. but sneaked into the hotel through the side entrance instead of the main entrance.. but San saw them and we walked up to them.. Shane didn't look pleased by it.. but I really wanted to get a Gill piccie.. so I just asked her nicely and she was like 'yeah sure' and posed for 2 piccies! She's lovely... I was like 'omg what should I say to her?!' So I was like: 'thank you very much.. it means the world to me..' and then she said sumthing to me but cant remember what... think it was sumthing like 'really?!' or 'Aww.' so I was like 'really.. thank you very much' and they got in coz Shane dragged her along like he did when they left as well.. think he didn't like the situation with loads of fans at the hotel.. but ah well I'm happy.. I got 3 piccies.. met 2 of girlz... never met them before... so didn't really care about the fact that Shane was kinda grumpy.. after that we stayed for about 20 mins and then went back to the venue.. we got about 10th row eventhough we got back there at bout 5.20pm, so we were happy bout that and we got 2 meetings to put down to experience!
