Suz's meeting (06 June 2002)

I met Gillian when Westlife were doing their first gig in Ireland of the WOOO Tour. Me and my matey went to The Point early to see if we could meet anyone. So when we were in the car just chatting away I looked over and saw Shane and Gillian in his car! We were stuck in loads of traffic so we were staring at them for about five hours until we clicked that we should do something! So I started banging on the window but they were having a grand old chat and were too busy to notice us so I started to put down the window but they drove away!! We were soo hyper though cos we had just seen Shane and Gillian like!! Then we were walking towards The Point and this big car/jeep thingy drove in front of us and it was Mark!! So we started shouting at him but he just drove into the side gate! (hmmmm two people in five minutes maybe we should take that as a hint! hmmmmmm!) So anyways we went inside and it was really groovey with the lights and stage and everything and I was just looking around and I saw this blonde girl walk past looking like she was trying to avoid everyone and I was like omg that's soooo Gill! (it turned out to be Kerry in the end!) So we were waiting for her to come back and I saw this blonde girl coming out of the backstage door (we were right next to the backstage door but in the edge so we kept pissing everyone off coming in and out like 25 billion times!! haha!) and I was like no wait that's Gillian!! Lmao we were soooo confused!! And I was saying really loud omg that's Gillian and the girl behind me (stupid fool!) was like Who's Gillian and I said Shane's girlfriend and she just shrugged! (grrr I hated her and she hit me over the head TWICE with her tour programme because she 'couldn't see'!!) She looked soooo stunning she had her hair in a high ponytail, was wearing a white gypsy top, jeans and pointy boots. We were like we have to meet her so we went down and stood about a meter away from her and pretended we were talking to her because we were to afraid to go up to her!! Pml laughing we must have looked like such eejits!! Then she went back inside and we were like damn but then she came out again but went in again!! Lol this happened about ten times!! And then she finally came out again and I was like were sooooo going up to her now so we went up and I said 'Hi Gillian how are you?' and she was shocked but really smiley and she said 'Hi girls im fine. Are ye enjoying the concert?' and I said 'Yea but we’ve been trying to meet you all night I think you’re brilliant!' and she was like nearly crying with happiness and said 'You're so sweet! Thank you so much that's the nicest thing a fans ever said to me! Thank you so much and I like your hair pet did you do that yourself?' (It was up really weirdly but if Gill likes it its all good!!) and then I said 'Oh thank you ya I just kinda thru it up! Dya mind if we have a picture?' and she said 'Of course ye can girls.' So we took the picture and we asked her how Shane was and she said 'Ah he's fine girls! I’ll tell him ye were asking for him.' and then we were just chatting for a bit and we said thank you and goodbye and stuff!! We were soooooooooooo chuffed and honestly Gilly is the nicest person EVER!!!!!! :)

OTHER NON-GILLIAN GOING ONS!!!!
When we were walking into our seats we were passing the backstage door and we saw Mark so we started waving and calling him and he just looked at us and then looked away!! Pml!! (another hint!)

Louis Walsh was like Mr. Popular there so we went down to him and asked him for a picture and he said 'Sure girls' but the stupid security guard was like we have to go and pulled him away and he said 'Sorry girls!' (ANOTHER HINT!! ARRGH!!)

This is about Gillian! - When Uptown Girl started Gill was with this group of people and her and this man started doing the funniest dance and Gill was sooo funny!! And everytime Shane was singing a slow romantic song he’d point at Gill and stares at her for the WHOLE song and Gill we just stare at him and smile!! Aww it was soo lovely!

When we were standing by the backstage door Kerry walked passed and we said 'Hi Kerry' and she said 'Hi girls how are ye?' and we said 'fine!' lol it was so stupid cos thats all that happened and we were so happy!!
