HAPPY BIRTHDAAAY to Mr.Filan! I'm away at this very moment, as it's my friend Wendy's birthday as well today so we're having a weekend together.. so here's the blend.

Besides that, I haven't finished anything to be honest. I had big plans for today, but work and my graduation all messed those up.. sorry, I owe you those.. But what I'm working on is redoing the gallery, I'm changing ALL the tagged/small versions of the images in all the albums to HQ or better quality ones. This with a huge huge thanks to Lucy for getting us all of those.

Westlife To Reunite For B-day Bash
POP toppers Westlife will perform together for the first time in a year this weekend - to celebrate band member Shane Filan's 30th birthday.

Shane is hosting a huge party to mark the milestone at his home outside Sligo town on Saturday.

All of Westlife will gather for the bash at the €2 million mansion along with Shane's large family and many friends.

"They're planning to do a live performance at the party," one source revealed.

Annette met Shane in Sligo
My dear friend Annette met Shane in Sligo on June 10th and would like to share her picture and story with us. Thanks hun!

She talked to him about the new album:
- They have 5 songs ready, and they are gonna record the new album in America in July & are very excited to get back
- He also mentioned they wanna visit countires outside the UK & Ireland again. They think their songs haven't been good enough the last 3 years for the international market. They wanna make sure they are good enough now, to tour the rest of Europe.

And besides that he seemed interested in them and happy to talk to them, he asked how they were doing, where they were from, how long they were staying and gave each of them a hug. He ended the conversation saying "Very nice to meet you, see you soon, and take care".

Westlife on Michael Jackson's death
Westlife are saddened and shocked at the news of the sudden death of Michael Jackson.

He was a huge inspiration to millions of music fans all over the world, including ourselves. He brought to us some of the best music and entertainment ever seen, all of which is in our hearts now for ever. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends, especially his three young children. RIP Michael and thank you.

Michael Jackson, 'King of Pop', died at 50
Yesterday evening the sad news reached us all that Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, has died at just 50 years of age. We lost a pop legend with that and we all know how much of a Jackson fan Shane was and still is! He was Shane's inspiration - the reason he got into singing in the first place. That's why I thought it would be appropriate to memorize some of the fabulous Jackson performances Westlife have given us over the years.. Without Michael we wouldn't have seen all that! R.I.P. Michael.

Problems with the website
Guys,

As you might have noticed there is something funny going on with the website. Malicious code has been injected in some of the webfiles which causes the website to malfunction or not work at all! I also noticed it might spread malware or some other malicious crap, so IF you get nay prompts asking you to install anything, DON'T! This happened two days in a row now and it usually seems to happen around 6-7am (UK time). I'm looking into this as I'm not sure how to fix this, but just make sure you're not visiting the website around those hours or I'm not sure what happens. I'm sorry, like I said, I'm looking into it! I just changed the files before writing this, so for now it should be ok again..

Changes to the website & pictures
I want to start off with the news I would give you tonight. Don't worry, I'm not closing down, to the contrary - I'm gonna make some changes to the website, some small, some major. Why? You might think. Well, because this site has been open for 6 and a half years now and I feel like there's a need for a big change in layout as well as content and organisation. And as I'm finishing college this month, I thought it would be nice to actually start working on that now, espcially as I want to use my gained knowledge to improve the site on certain points. But as we have quite a lot of pages and content, it will take a lot of time. Weeks, months probably, but I just wanted to inform you about this, in case there might be problems with or major visual changes to certain pages in the near future. Thanks for understanding and I hope things will get even better here in the future!
