Happy 5th anniversary to Shane & Gillian!


I was actually a little bit worried about not having anything to update for this special day, especially with the recent crash and all that. Then earlier this week I fell ill, as usual, around Christmas time, so my hope of giving you a special update was gone.. Until last night, when I decided to make this new layout. I hope you like it!

I'm still trying to get the gallery back up, without any luck as you might have noticed. I'm gonna look into it again after writing this, so I'm hoping to have another surprise for you today.

Anyway, for now, I want to wish Shane and Gillian a brilliant day with their two beautiful kids and the rest of their families! To many more years to come!

TF.net crashed update
As you might have noticed, I've been experiencing a lot of problems with the site this last week. And every single file got removed from my server earlier this week as a consequence of a server crash. The server my host put my website on was having problems, which led to it to crash.

What does this mean for the site? Well obviously, no updates, until I got everything back on track. Most of it is back, all files and pages are working and the fanlistings are back up. The big problem is though, I can't get the gallery back to work. I have a database back up for that, luckily, but as that's about 11MB in size, it keeps on crashing when I try to restore it. So I'm still looking into that.

I noticed something strange in the layout though (there seems to be a lot of space between the header and the content), I hope I can fix that soon as well. My main priority is the gallery though. So please people, bare with me. I'm working around the clock to get everything back up again. So if there's someone who thinks they can help me, please don't hesitate to send me an e-mail!

Shay lends a safe pair of hands to charity

Shay Given is a model goalkeeper. His wife Jane was a model. On Monday night, Donegal-born icon Shay modelled at the Sherri Hill Fashion Show in aid of charity. The night was attended by fellow Ireland international Damien Duff and Westlife's Nicky Byrne and Shane Filan (with their respective wives, Georgina and Gillian) and Annette Rocca. They all joined Newcastle United goalie Shay for "Las Vegas in the Toon", held at St James' Park.

The glamorous evening was in aid of the Newcastle United Foundation, the Shay Given Foundation and Macmillan Cancer Support. Shay, who organised the night with his wife Jane, said: "Macmillan is a cause that is very close to my heart. One in three people are affected by cancer in some way, shape or form, so the work Macmillan does is fantastic."

Jane told me: "We are delighted that we raised over £50,000 tonight for such a great cause. The event is a nice taster for our main charity event, Fashion Kicks, next year."

"The support we've had from Westlife has been incredible and their performing at it over the years has helped to raise £750,000," Jane said.

A little bird told me that earlier in the day she and Shay had hosted a private lunch at their house in Newcastle attended by Annette Rocca, Shane and Gillian Filan, and Nicky and Georgina Byrne.

Updates tomorrow
Hey guys,

I'm really really sorry but I have been really busy these last few weeks with a major school project I had to finish and an exam I had to prepare so I didn't really have much time to think about the website. But I promise I'll update with a lot of pictures and more tomorrow and if not, sometime on Saturday.
